BuyAndSellInventory.com, Inc. (“BASI,” “we,” “us,” “our”) explains here how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use BuyAndSellInventory.com and related services, tools, and communications (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.
We operate in the United States only and process data in the U.S. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to U.S. processing.
1) Information We Collect

Payments are processed by Stripe (or another PCI-DSS compliant processor). BASI does not store full payment card data.
1.3 Log & device data (automatically collected)
When you use the Services we may collect: IP address, device type, OS and browser, language, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, time on page, search terms, timestamps, crash/error data, and identifiers (e.g., device IDs).
1.4 Cookies & similar technologies
We use persistent cookies (e.g., stay logged in, remember preferences) and session cookies (e.g., security, routing). Third parties (e.g., Google Analytics, email, limited advertising/retargeting if enabled) may set cookies or pixels. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking some cookies may limit features.

We retain messages you send to BASI or between users (buyer/seller) via the platform for fraud prevention, support, and transaction facilitation.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system is 100% secure. Keep your credentials confidential and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. Security incidents: Where legally required, we will notify you of a breach of unencrypted personal data, considering law-enforcement needs and measures needed to restore system integrity.
6) Data Retention
We keep information as long as needed to operate the Services, meet legal/accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Inactive accounts may be archived or deleted after extended inactivity.
7) Children
The Services are for individuals 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
8) Links and Third Parties
We may link to third-party sites or services we do not control. Their practices are governed by their policies. Review them before providing information.
9) Payments / Merchant Security Statement
Transactions are processed by Stripe (or another PCI-DSS compliant provider). We implement controls to reduce fraud, but you should also monitor your accounts and promptly report any suspicious activity.
10) Chat & AI Assistants (if you use our site chat)
If you use our chat or AI assistant, your messages may be recorded and processed to operate the feature, improve quality, ensure compliance, and respond to you. Third-party vendors may provide this service under contract. Do not include sensitive personal data (e.g., government IDs, full card numbers, health data). You may request a copy or deletion of chat transcripts as permitted by law (see Section 11).

Depending on where you live (e.g., CA/CO/CT/UT/VA), you may have some or all of the following rights regarding Personal Information (“PI”) we collected about you in the past 12 months:
Submitting a request
Email Help@buyandsellinventory.com with the subject “Privacy Rights Request” and tell us which right(s) you’re invoking. We will verify your identity (e.g., email confirmation and/or requesting limited additional information). You may also use an authorized agent (we may require proof of authorization and attempt to verify you directly). Where applicable, we recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for opt-out preferences.
Categories we typically collect
Identifiers (name, email, phone, addresses, IP), commercial data (orders), internet/network activity (usage logs), geolocation (approximate from IP), professional info (business contact data), and inferences (basic preferences). Sources include you, your devices/browsers, and service providers (e.g., fraud prevention, analytics).
Disclosures for business purposes
In the past 12 months we disclosed PI to service providers for the purposes in Section 2 (payments, hosting, analytics, logistics, communications). We did not sell PI nor knowingly share PI for cross-context behavioral advertising.
12) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. We’ll post the “Last Updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice (e.g., email or in-product notice). Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes
